Our commitment

The Joyful Woman Project does not sell, rent, trade or share our donor list with any other organization, for any purpose. This applies to every donor, at every gift level, whether or not you ask us to keep your gift private.

What we collect when you give

Depending on how you give, we may hold your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, gift amount, gift designation and the date of your gift. Payment card details are handled entirely by our donation processor. We never see or store your full card number or bank credentials.

How we use it

• To process your gift and send you a receipt.
• To thank you, and to keep you informed if you want to hear from us.
• To meet our record-keeping and reporting obligations.

Recognition and anonymity

If we ever publish a list of supporters, we will ask permission before naming you. You can request that your gift remain anonymous at any time, and you can ask to be removed from any future listing.

Recurring gifts

A recurring gift continues until you change or cancel it. You can do either at any time by contacting us, and we will confirm the change in writing.

Receipts, corrections and refunds

You will receive a receipt for every gift. If a gift was made in error or in the wrong amount, contact us and we will correct or refund it. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. EIN: 42-3329190.

Restricted gifts

If you designate a gift for a specific purpose, we honor that designation. If that purpose becomes impractical or is fully funded, we will contact you to agree an alternative use before redirecting your gift.
